Hi, This isn't an absence notice, really. It's more of a... I'm depressed and only on very good days do I find the muse that will allow me to write. Most days I can't even bear to be online. My friends are all fighting, I'm suffering from an anxiety problem that I thought I beat but apparently didn't because it's back, all my friends are about to move away for college and I'm being left here in my home town, I have to live with my parents through college (and every day they try to discourage me from going into the major/career I'm going into.) Basically it's just a really bad situation for me emotionally, and by extension creatively. When I try to write there's nothing there. So. Once this works itself out, or at least some of it does, I'll be back to full. Until then I'll be... spotty. Hopefully not absent.

Awww don't worry sweetie, we're here for you. If you ever need to talk to someone, even just to vent know that my 'door' is always open. =] Just try to always look on the bright side of the problem, and hopefully everything will work itself out. If it makes you feel any better, my bf and I (together for almost 4 years now) currently live with his parents cuz were both to broke to afford our own place. it sucks having our relationship this long and still not having our own home. Plus he's 30, and I'm 26, so it makes it all the more shameful.
My advice to your parents though would be to make sure their clear on where you stand with the issue. Let them know that this is what you want to do, and no amount of nagging from them is going to change that. If it's one of those things where they think you just want the degree or something but have no plan for your life try and make them see what you see. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't. My parents used to be the same way with me about becoming a nurse or a vet because thats what they both do, but I wanted to be a graphic designer. After I proved that I knew what I was doing and that that was really what I wanted to do with my life, they let up and started to support me.
As for your friends all moving away, I know that feeling too. After high school one of my best friends became wrapped up in his gf who hated me and stopped talking to me all together, one more almost 5 hours away, and the other moved 20 hours away. It really sucked, but we talked all the time, and skyped so it made it better and every now and then we go visit each other which makes the time together all the sweeter.
My point is though, I'm here for you no matter what, and if you need to talk I'll be here to listen or try to offer some advice. Stay strong, and keep your chin up. =] We'll be here waiting for you. -Pinki
