Brad was the most popular guy in high school and plans to be at MSU too. In high school he was captain of the football team, and the soccer team. He’s used to getting anything he wants just handed to him. Brad is full of himself and is convinced that he is the hottest guy on campus and that every girl wants him whether she wants to admit it to herself or not. He has been raised around horses and likes them in the sense that they earn him money, ribbons and prizes, but he has never really been affectionate towards them. He’s never really liked dogs or cats either, with the exception of Rosco who he picked out as a puppy and has owned ever since. Carolyn and Bradley were born in California and were practically raised around the horses and the university. They never wanted for anything, and once they even hinted that they wanted something it was theirs. They both started earning awards for horse shows at a young age and it was pretty much set in stone that they were to attend MSU. Their private High school was a cake walk. It’s hard for it not to be when you’re the most popular and gorgeous kids in school even if it was achieved by surgical means. They had tons of friends, and everyone wanted to be them. Carolyn was a year ahead of Bradley and attended a private college out in California for 4 years taking her mare, Icsis, with her out there. When Bradley graduated a year later he also moved out to this college with her and Adonis and attended it for 3 years before they both transferred to MSU. So of course when they signed up for MSU they figured that since their daddy was the owner college would be a cake walk too. Easy A’s, Lots of friends, Anything they want. Little do they know but life does NOT revolve around them. Open to friends (if they can tolerate him), enemies, or other. Love is currently off the table since he's with Kenzie. |

Sean is the typical “good ol’ boy” southern gentleman. He will bend over backwards to make a lady smile, but also does not tolerate rudeness. Especially not in the presence of a lady. Sean works hard for everything he owns. He does fairly good in school, and aspires to be an equine Vet. Sean likes to be sweet and even though he is tough and would never cry, he also knows when to admit he was wrong. He is also very determined and confident in what he does. Once he sets his mind that he’s going to do something, he will do it. Sean used to ride in the rodeo and won the title of ‘All Around Cowboy’ for the Alabama state rodeo 4 years in a row by riding and placing in the bull dogging competition, team roping, bronco’s, and reining, but after a tragic accident while riding a bucking bronco by the name of Revenge, he was nearly killed when the horse tossed him and stomped on the back of his head nearly paralyzing him before crushing his leg in its escape. He hasn’t ridden since, and claims it’s because of the pain in his leg. Sean is also slightly shy. He won’t make the first move until he is sure that a girl is into him. Sean was the first born of Jennifer and Bryan Sage. He was born in the little town of Allentown, GA where he learned about to value of a dollar and how to work with his hands. His father was part of the professional rodeo circuit and was always travelling, but he loved watching it. When he was old enough his father began to teach him how to ride also. When he was 9 years old his little sister, Bethany was born, and he loved her. She was the light of his life and he protected her with every fiber of his being. The whole family was crushed when Bryan walked out on the family when Sean was only 12. He left them without even a second glance. Sean was pissed but he was suddenly the man of the house and he had to be strong for him mom and his little sister. He hoped things would get better but they only got worse when his mom remarried 4 years later. Her new husband was abusive. He would strike Jennifer and scream at her. It was all Sean could do to protect his little sister from seeing it. Finally his step father pushed it too far nearly throwing Jennifer through a wall and Sean stepped up to the plate. A huge fight broke out and Sean was nearly arrested but his mom and sister stood up for him to the police and instead Anthony was arrested for domestic abuse. He tried to convince his mom to leave be she wouldn’t. And Beth would stay wherever his mom was so he packed his things and left vowing that if he ever met Anthony again, then he would get what he deserved. For many years he worked on various farms earning money until a vet recommended he go back to school. He got his GED and after much debating and trying to talk himself out of it he finally applied to MSU. Even now he can only afford to go to the school by working as a stable hand for the barn manager Bill. Sean is open for Friends, Enemies, or anything else but love. |

Emma Shay is quite the strange little girl. Born and raised in the shadow of her older sister Kathryn she took the role as the shy younger sister. She succeeds at math and English the two subjects she hates the most but is horrible in Science and History even though science is her favorite subject. She remains quite 90% of the time letting others run the show and only speaking out when she gets really impassioned. And when might that happen? Well it usually happens around horses. Yes. Despite all the things that her sister can do better at Emma is better with horses than her sister has ever been. However once you get to know her she’s either your best friend who will defend you till the death or the worst enemy you’ll ever have. She will fight for what she believes is right, and can sometimes get into trouble because of her bad choices. But Emma is not quite a pushover, not at all. She loves to make new friends even if at first she won’t talk much at all, once she warms up to you, it’s hard to shut her up! When Emma was born she was destined to be just your average child. Her sister had already become a piano master by the age of 4, and stole the limelight. Emma was still showered with love by her parents, but she would never amount to the great heights that Katie had set. Everywhere she went she was always being compared to Katie. It drove her crazy until she just stopped talking. She closed in on herself and became this shy little lady. She’d answer when spoken to, and study all day, every day. And then her parents who had owned horses for years but more as a breeding farm than a riding farm, bought Katie her first horse. Emma was so jealous that she couldn’t bare it. But after her sister almost ruined the poor gelding in a riding accident Emma could stand by no longer. She threw herself into working with him by the moonlight while Katie slept and when Katie discovered the change in her horse she choked it up to her riding skills. Emma, though annoyed by her sisters ego, let it slide. She could care less if everyone thought it was Katie, as long as she got her time with the horses while no one was able to judge her. The years past and Katie’s shadow grew bigger and bigger until it eclipsed Emma, but by now she had grown in confidence. She had gone her own direction in pursuit of her own dreams. Katie graduated and went off to a college up north where she could bring her new mare that their parents had bought her for a graduation gift. Emma relished in the time she got to spend alone with the horses. It made her the happiest girl in the world. Everyone could finally start to see what a great person she truly was. She planned to go to a college out west where she could ride horses all day and be without Katie. No one would know her there and she could start fresh, How relieving! The day she graduated was the happiest day of her life. For once, no one compared her to her sister, and it was all about her. The day only got better when she arrived home to find a lanky black colt with a big red ribbon waiting in the yard for her. She couldn’t believe how lucky she was. In just 2 short months she’d be 3 states away in a highly acknowledged college with her new colt. And then it all went south. Katie announced that she would be going to MSU too in order to be closer to her little sister. Furiously Emma stalked off not wanting to even hear Katie’s name. And so the 2 months passed quickly and the fighting sisters with their 2 horses set off in separate cars for the University to begin their new life. But what will happen at MSU? Kempton has a one of a kind personality that changes based on who she’s talking to. If it’s teachers or important adults she’s respectful and considerate. If it’s a stranger her attitude is more along the lines of ‘I could care less what you think, So let’s do something stupid that you might regret later’. She also would go along with whatever is said, and seem like the tough bitch that she looks to be. However if you really take the time to get to know her you would discover that she is in fact the sweetest girl you could ever hope to meet. She never forgets anything important, and will always be a friend if you ever have need. She doesn’t let her emotions show to people, and if she truly knows and trusts you then you might see a glimpse of the emotions that she tries to suffocate. She doesn’t trust easily and it will take a lot to earn her trust, but if you can then you have a friend for life. Kempton loves music, tattoos, and piercings and anything else that would piss her parents off. She’s always loved animals, but has never been around anything but a handful of dogs and her own kitten that one of her friends gave to her as a gift a few months ago. Sometimes her thought processes can seem a little strange to other people, but no one ever said she was normal. I mean what do you expect from a girl who calls herself Cricket. Kempton was born the only daughter of a rather rich and wealthy family name out in Las Angeles. She was a gifted and joyful little girl, unfortunately her parents held really high standards and no matter what she tried to do she just couldn’t seem to meet their high hopes. Everything she did just seemed to disappoint them even more. Finally it got to the point where she could not stand her parents anymore, or being in the house with them and started to devout every ounce of her time to disappointing her parents. By the time she was 14 she had been kicked out of every school in the state, both private and public, and even a reform school. Her parents were beyond frustrated and angry with her. They had tried therapy, threats, and every other punishment under the sun. It wasn’t so much that she was misbehaving, it was that she was actively working to piss of her parents. She would sneak out her of the house and go hang out with friends that her parents did not approve of, and when she returned home she would have a new piercing, or a new tattoo, and would be wearing clothes that certainly did not befit someone of her status. Finally after they could no longer handle her anymore, they sent her to live with her Aunt on her father’s side who they hoped could get through to her. And as soon as she was free of her parents her attitude changed. Her grades went back up and she stopped defying everything that was asked of her. Her aunt reported the change back to her parents and Kempton was sent back to live with them. Unfortunately immediately upon her return she reverted back to her old ways. The cycle went round and round like that at least 4 times before her Aunt discovered the issue. When she asked Kempton about it and found out she was right she made a deal with her parents that she would keep the girl with her out in Denver Colorado. Kempton lived with her Aunt from the time she was 16 until she was 19. Her parents tried to insist that since Kempton was doing so well out in Colorado then she should come back to LA and go to college there, but she refused saying she had already chosen a college. And in a way she kind of had, She wanted to go to her aunts college. And so the next fall she was enrolled at MSU. Only time would tell if she had made the right choice or not. At least she was out of her parents house. Emma is open to Friends, Enemies, Party Friends, Love, or anything else you can think of. |

Marissa is a lot like her father in many ways which explains why they argue so much, but she also has a bit of her mom in her girly girl attitude. She loves to go shopping, watch scary or romantic movies, dance, hang out with her friends, or just about anything else that could be considered girly. Not overly fond of horses, and kind of resents her dad for making forcing her to go to college for something she doesn’t want just because he stinks its right and wants her to continue the family business. Marissa has always been really fond of children though, so even when she is in a horrible mood, being around kids can help cheer her up. While most people would consider Marissa a snob, she’s actually quite friendly and as long as you’re nice to her, she has no problem being nice to you.
