So, Emma is in need of her sister. Nothing makes awkward moments worse than a sister you don't get a long with. This is the basics of her personality. Feel free to add whatever you'd like to this (within reason). Hope you like her, and I hope someone takes her up. =]

Personality Basics (May add, but don't subtract): The opposite of her sister. Katie is as outgoing and friendly and Emma is quiet and shy. Katie loves horses but does not always know what’s best for them. She is more into loving the idea of taking care of animals, but sometimes does things wrong. She’s a much tougher rider than Emma, and subsequently annoys Emma every time she rides. They argue all the time and hardly ever get along. Katie is great at almost anything she does. She can play 6 instruments, gets straight A’s in school in everything but Math where she’s a B student, and gets all the attention. She casts a large shadow for Emma to stand in.
History (May add, but don't subtract): Alan and Jenna Shay bought their new farm in the summer of 1975 as a fixer upper. They worked tirelessly until it was suitable for living and then started their small scale breeding farm. They had nothing but a few horses and their love. Life was perfect and the farm was thriving, the fact that they had a descendant of Seabiscut on the farm up for stud. Their lives only got better when their oldest was born on July 14th 1988 and they brought home their daughter, Kathryn Leigh Shay to their little farm. The little rose cheeked bundle of joy was the best thing that ever happened to the Shay’s. She was the perfect child and they couldn’t have asked for anything else. 7 ½ pounds of beautiful blonde baby girl. By the age of 1 Katie was already walking and talking, and recognizing people easily. She became a child prodigy and they couldn’t have been happier. All they needed was their farm, their horses and their daughter. And then Jenna discovered that they were pregnant again. Katie was going to be an older Sister. Emma Marie Shay was born 5 pounds 6 ounces on October 26th. Of course living in Katie’s shadow was no easy thing to do. No matter what she did as she grew up it was always. “Oh your just like your sister, She could do that when she was your age too.” Or the ever popular “Why can’t you be more like Katie?” whenever she did anything wrong. As a consequence of this Emma became very Shy and shut in. She would often talk to the horses and had a small selection of friends, but was too shy to make any new ones. Katie excelled with showing horses even if Emma didn’t always agree with her riding tactics. When Emma started secretly working with Katie’s horse, Katie decided that it was her own amazing skills that had caused the change in her horse. Katie’s shadow grew bigger and bigger completely eclipsing Emma. Katie graduated and went off to college up north with the mare that her parents bought as a graduation gift. College was great but she found herself missing her sister. When Emma graduated and announced that she was going to MSU, Katie surprised her by saying she was going to MSU too so they could be closer! She couldn’t understand why Emma was so upset by this news. But nevertheless come January they both set off for MSU in different car’s towing their horses.

Personality: As sweet as they come. Sissy will do anything to please you and delights in making others happy. She’s the kind of mare that knows nothing but love. Even if she’s treated wrong she will continue to just love and worship you. She’s a great showmanship horse and Katie is currently working on training her in the art of dressage. She is a very trusting and patient mare.
History: Sissy was born on a small farm and her owners loved the passionate little filly very much but when the husband fell ill with lung cancer They just couldn’t take care of her anymore and were forced to sell her. That was when the Shay family discovered her and decided that she would be the perfect gift for their oldest daughter’s graduation. She’s lived with the Shay’s ever since and has become part of the family.

Personality: Miya is a sweet dog who loves to be near Katie at all times. She’s the sweetest dog and loves making new friends or getting attention, but if you threaten Katie or even Emma you’re in for a world of hurt. Miya will not hesitate to defend her owners tooth and nail.
History: Miya was a puppy from one of the litters that her parents Golden Retriever had. She was the runt of the litter and Katie just had to keep her. Miya has been with Katie since she was born.
